Operator playbook · how the job actually runs

How to run a brand as an operator.

This is the real job, in detail: the week, the four things you run, the tiers you climb, and what "good" looks like when we score it. Read it before you apply. If this is the work you want, the memo in the application will feel easy.

The shape of a week

Monday decides. The rest of the week makes it happen.

One brand, start to finish. You run this in parallel across your whole book — the AI preps, you make the calls.

Mon · review

Thirty minutes per brand. Last week's numbers against the target, what shipped, what didn't. You apply the kill/keep rules to every live ad, refill the test slots, check creators against quota, then send a 3-minute Loom and a short memo to the founder: how the week went, what you're doing, what you need from them.

Tue–Thu · unblock

Most delays sit on the brand's side. You keep one asks list per brand — ad-account access, a Shopify build, product shipped to creators, a legal sign-off — each with an owner, a date and a next chase. You chase daily on WhatsApp until it moves. You review creator drafts same-day and keep the content shipping. When it's faster to make a video yourself, you make it.

Fri · close the loop

Approved ads confirmed by ID in one email. Launch rows pasted into the tracker. Open questions moved to next Monday's memo. Every brand that stayed, renewed or added a service shows up in Friday's payout.

The four instruments

Four things, run the same way every week.

Learn these four and you can run any brand. We train you on each.

1

The Monday review

One page per brand, same headings every week so the founder learns where to look. Headline first (on / under / over target), then the numbers, the decisions, the asks. Thirty minutes, written to be read in ninety seconds.

2

The blockers list

Every launch waiting on something gets a name, a date and a next chase. You own the chase — 48 hours, then escalate. Nothing sits silent. This is the slow part of growth, and it's your part.

3

The Loom memo

A 5-line written memo plus a 3-minute Loom to the founder. Plan vs results, in plain words. The memo is the product the client actually sees — it's how trust is built or lost.

4

Kill/keep rules

Agreed with the founder at kickoff, before anything runs. Pause, keep and replace calls follow the rules, with one line of why for each. So stopping an ad is a rule, not a debate.

The machine behind you. You are not doing all of this alone. Specialists and the Dependables (AI) build the ads, pages, scripts and tracking; the AI drafts the memo and the tracker rows. You own the outcome and the relationship. That's how one operator runs a brand's whole growth without being a ten-person team.
Every tier is a different operator

Start where you fit. Climb as you prove it.

We match you to brands by tier, the same way we match creators to brands by niche. You rise by results, not by waiting.

Where most creators start
Creator
Runs: content for brands, one deal at a time.
Owns: their own videos and their craft.
Next step: show you can read a week of numbers and chase a launch to done.

The core role · start here
Operator
Runs: a book of 2–8 brands end to end — content, ads, pages, the weekly review.
Owns: the outcome and the founder relationship (the brand belongs to dependables).
Trained on: every offering we run, so you always know what a brand should buy next.

The step up
Pod lead
Runs: a bigger book plus a pod of creators and operators under you.
Owns: their results and their training. Your best people become operators too.
Earns more by: growing the pod's book and inventing offerings that sell across it.
Book + pod share
Invent the next offering, get paid on it. Operators who come up with a new service that actually works earn a bonus on it — a cut every time it sells across the whole book, not just their own brands.
What good looks like

The same rubric we score your application memo on.

No secret test. This is exactly what we look for in the memo — and in the job.

  1. The answer comes first. The first two lines tell the founder how the week went against the target.
  2. The rules are applied correctly, with one line of why for each ad.
  3. Every blocker has an owner, a date and a next step.
  4. Clear asks with deadlines for the founder at the end.
  5. Short and plain. A busy founder can read it in ninety seconds.
How we hire

Two steps. A real person reads every one.

1. Your detailsName, email, where you are. One minute.
2. Write a Monday memoWe give you last week for an example brand. You write the memo you'd send the founder. About twenty minutes, judged on the rubric above.
3. Hear back in 5 daysA yes or a "not yet," by email, either way. If it's a yes, a 20-minute intro call and your first brand within two weeks.
